THE CHALLENGE.

Raise awareness of the Hyundai i30 N – a new hot-hatch from a brand not yet known for its performance credentials, designed to get people thinking differently about the brand.

OUR RESPONSE.

With an all-new product from a challenger brand, we knew it was important to get real opinions from real enthusiasts to stimulate peer-to-peer advocacy. As a result, we put real performance-loving readers from our audience at the core of our ideas.

In order to validate the thrill and joy of driving the Hyundai i30 N, we used a sports scientist to measure the physical reaction of our readers as they drove around a track – proving that driving the i30 N actually had a tangible and measurable effect, as well as a visible emotional reaction.

 

RESULTS.

Our Hyundai i30 N campaign was a hit with our performance-loving readers, scoring 60,000 video views (almost 2x our initial KPI) with 63% retention – impressive for long-form content that is marked as ‘promoted’ on our channels.
